Reader for Borderlands
"Borderlands is a small press magazine publishing Australian science fiction, fantasy and horror stories, and associated non-fiction.
Borderlands Publications, the publisher of the magazine, is based in Perth, Western Australia, and is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the promoting the science fiction, fantasy and horror genres in Australian literature." -- From the website
I am an official "reader" for Borderlands. That means that I regularly read through the submissions to the magazine, along with others, in order to determine which stories are suitable for publication.

EcoFluxx Foundation
"The EcoFluxx Foundation was established to choose which organizations are to receive [a portion of the profits from the sales of EcoFluxx], and to provide a forum for all our fans and friends to talk about environmental issues, especially about things we can do in our daily lives to live more sustainably." -- From the EcoFluxx Foundation webpage.
As part of my promotion for Looney Labs I have been actively promoting the EcoFluxx Foundation through posts to various forums, the creation of a set of banner ads and a "microbadge" on the popular gaming website BoardGameGeek. In addition to having bought a couple of copies of EcoFluxx itself.
My EcoFluxx Foundation ads can be found here. (You may have to turn off any ad filters you have.)
The EcoFluxx Foundation microbadge can be found here.

Promotion of misc. charities on BoardGameGeek using "Microbadges".
As an active member of the BoardGameGeek community I spend some time promoting worthy charities. The site offers a great way of doing that with the provision of five small 16x16 pixel "microbadges" that can be placed in a small profile block, or "avatar", that's attached to each message a user posts. I have been designing a number of these microbadges and to date my collection includes two charities; The EcoFluxx Foundation (see above) and Child's Play.
The Child's Play microbadge can be found here.
